What's got into me, you ask? Yes, I never bother watching anime with the BL element and yes I did. The reason why I watched this anime is because....I have no anime to watch. What a lame reason. Also, at that time everybody was raving how awesome No.6 is so I decided to watch slightly later when the anime is almost close to the end.

No.6, anime

I don't remember where exactly I read No.6 storyline but from the description line, it says cute-looking guy name Nezumi. I know from that line itself, I'm pretty sure that the BL element is freaking big and who would have thought I was right from the bat. The anime itself has a lot of mild BL element everywhere.

No.6, anime

Putting the BL element aside, I have to say that the anime indeed have an awesome storyline. This is because it already made you curious from the beginning. This is also the reason why I'm giving the BL element a miss because it was counter attacked with the storyline. Even though this anime is short, pretty much they wrap up the whole plot nicely without you feeling like you're missing something.

No.6, anime

To be honest, I would highly recommend people to watch this anime if there's no BL element because I know that this kind of element will put some people off. However, if you feel like you can screw up the BL and go for the storyline instead, then feel free to watch. I'm sure you'll be hooked with how the plot is presented.

For those of you who love No.6, you can get lovely No.6 merchandise here.

From now on, I have decided to write what kind of goodies (especially the rare one) from the anime that I have watched. As you can see here, there are many great goodies out there and some of them are pretty rare. Pretty much you can't get it elsewhere unless you happened to live in or nearby Akihabara. So now, I'll start off with Natsume Yuujinchou.

Natsume Yuujinchou, nyanko bread

So, can you guess what it is? If you can read what's on the can that would be good but if you can't, it's not your typical canned food. Rather than think it's a canned curry or anything equivalent, it's actually a canned bread. Yup, you read it right. It's a canned bread.

Natsume Yuujinchou, nyanko bread

So, this is the back of the can with a picture of Natsume and Nyanko Sensei. I don't know whether there is other flavour apart from black sugar flavour but it seems that's the only flavour available in J-List. I have no idea whether it's tasty or not so if you have bought it, feel free to share. I'd love to buy but I'm worried about the food sanction imposed. I don't want that damn immigration throw away my bread.

Now, where can you get this awesome canned bread? You can now get this bread in J-List by clicking here:

Natsume Yujin Cho Canned Bread -- Nyanko Sensei ~ Black Sugar Flavor

Apart from the canned bread, you can also get things like rice bowl, cup, plushie and many more in J-List. You can see the rest of them here in J-List.

Natsume Yujin Cho goodies

Can't get enough of Natsume Yuujinchou? Apparently, you can get more stuffs in CDJapan and here's my pick. You may not like this if you're not into plushie though.

For the rest of the stuffs which I believe they'll be adding more new stuffs later on, you can check them out here.

I know it's been a long time I haven't written any anime review and I'm guilty for not writing anything. It's not that I don't want to write because I'm no longer watching anime or I have nothing to watch. I have to say that I do watch a lot of anime (kinda) but it's just that I have no time to write a review.

For now, let's just move on to the anime review. Natsume Yuujinchou Shi is the fourth season of the anime, Natsume Yuujinchou. You can read Natsume Yuujinchou San review here, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou here and Natsume Yuujinchou here. Sorry for the descending order

Natsume Yuujinchou Shi, anime

Genres: comedy, drama, supernatural

Themes: folklore, spirits

Synopsis: Takashi Natsume continues to return the names of the spirits that have been written in the "Book of Friends" he inherited from his grandmother, Reiko Natsume. While Natsume is still aided by the chubby Nyanko-sensei, he's now helped by some of the friends he had made in his journey; be it human beings or spirits. As he becomes closer to both, Natsume faces the inevitable question of the sides he has to take especially when there is a conflict between the two.

When I heard about the fourth season of the anime, I just felt that it wasn't that long since Natsume Yuujinchou San was on air. But then again, I am happy because I get to see Nyanko Sensei again.

Natsume Yuujinchou Shi, anime

The storyline does not seem to differ that much with the previous season but then again, I'd like to say this again that it's best to watch from the beginning. Every people that Natsume met related back to the very first season of Natsume Yuujin-chou. Well, that was in the beginning of the fourth season though.

Natsume Yuujinchou Shi, anime

After that, the storyline revolved around Natsume's pasts where you will be introduced to Natsume's past foster family and how Natsume's parents look like. I can only say, "My God, you look just like your father." My favourite episode from this season is when Nyanko Sensei is transforming himself and becoming another Natsume because Natsume was stuck in a jar. That episode is totally hilarious because Nyanko Sensei was causing a commotion that the actual Natsume won't do. This is definitely is the highlight of the fourth season.

Natsume Yuujinchou Shi, anime

Towards the end, the story has become a lot heart warming because Natsume recalled his awful pasts (get ready with a box of tissues though) and his past memory with his late father. I won't write further because I didn't want to give spoiler any longer and I felt like I already gave too much spoiler already

This anime indeed didn't change much so the heart warming, touching moment will always be the main dish of this anime. Some people may not love this kind of story because it didn't have a fast pace action and the storyline can be slow at some point, but I still recommend watching this anime.

If you'd like to get Natsume Yuujinchou goodies, you can get them here. Of course, the main highlight will always be Nyanko Sensei and get them all if you're a huge fan of Nyanko Sensei.
