Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is a sequel to Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. The anime consists of 2 episodes.

Synopsis: A continuation of Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, with more stories revolving around Nozomu Itoshiki, the extremely pessimistic or despairing teacher, and the students of class the 2-H, who are each hilariously abnormal in their own unique way except for the one relatively normal girl who hates being called normal.

Comment: If you have watched Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, so never expect the continuation of the actual storyline. As usual, it doesn't have any storyline other than common society problems. Even though this anime talks about the common society problem, it doesn't actually say it directly to avoid offense. Therefore, you have to think in order to understand the point. This is not just applied in this anime, the storyline has already becomes like this ever since Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Probably you might be thinking it doesn't seem worth your time watching this anime considering it's just an OVA. Even though it's just an OVA, it's actually has its own unique way that differentiate this anime with Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. This can be easily seen in both episodes where suddenly all of them don't even look like the actual drawing. In the first episode, all of them looks like the manga drawing back in the old days (think Hajime no Ippo) and in the second episode, all of them look like Bishoujo/Shonen-ai drawing. However, the moment didn't even last long in both episodes. At first I found it odd because it doesn't even compliment them but that's what's this anime is all about. I know most of the things mentioned in this anime didn't really make sense at some points, but if you prefer the anime that doesn't have a storyline but at the same time bashing the society, this anime is for you XD
