Since this anime is a sequel to the previous season, I can only say that you will only enjoy watching this anime more if you have watched the previous season. It's not that you won't understand the whole plot for the second season if you didn't watch the first season, it's just that you'll get a better understanding if you have watched the first season. Anyway, I would highly recommend you to watch the first season before you attempt to watch the second season. But in case you're curious about how the second season, feel free to continue reading.
The storyline for this anime is a lot more interesting than the first season where you can see development in terms of their love life, Morita's past and a little bit about Hagu's past and as usual the talks about their future. Since the first season also had emphasized similar things before, so it's a lot more intense in the second season. And of course, the winning part if this anime is the comedies presented in this anime which is funny and didn't go overboard. I can't say anything much about the storyline since I didn't want to spoil your fun, but I can only say that everything seems to end perfectly well despite of the dramatic things happened along the way.
The anime quality is the same like the first season with the soft and calming looking graphic making this anime looks so pleasant to watch at....that's what I think. The OP for this anime is still by Yuki (ex Judy and Mary) so it doesn't make you feel much different than the first season.
Overall, this anime is really worth watching because you can learn quite a lot of things from this anime therefore, I highly recommend you to watch this anime because this is one of the shoujo anime that I think it really does meet my expectation in terms of storyline.
