Comment: Perhaps if you remember your history lesson, you will notice that Chevalier D'eon De Beaumont is really a real person. I must say that he is one of the historical figure. But don't worry about that, you can still watch this anime even if you don't know much about the world history or hate history. The storyline for this anime is rather slow but it's better that way because the story doesn't just involve Lia's death, it also touched about internal conflict in France itself. As usual, there aren't much details exposed at first but you will soon be able to grasp the storyline as the story progress. Most of the enemies appeared in this anime really reminds me of Resident Evil where normal human beings or animals became zombies look-alike so it can be very creepy sometimes. Even worst, there is a skeleton who can talk?! I don't find the zombies creepy but I find the skeleton can talk is creepy. If it's a white skeleton is fine with me but the skeleton is black. Not just that, the skeleton itself is in Queen Marie's room o____O. Okay, I'll stop bragging about that skeleton. Even though this anime contains historical figures (some of the names are fiction too), it doesn't mean that this anime is just like watching historical documentary. This anime also has supernatural element making this anime interesting to watch. The storyline is easy to understand too whether you remember history or know zero about French history. Overall, this anime is definitely a must watch not just for historical buff, but also those who loves supernatural stuff.
