Natsume Yuujin-Cho is an anime adapted from the manga by Yuki Midorikawa. This anime consists of 13 episodes altogether.
Genres: comedy, drama, supernatural
Synopsis: Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. Comment: Firstly, it must be a scary experience if you can see spirits and ghosts and the worst part is, people think that you must be crazy. This is what the first episode of Natsume Yuujin-chou is portrayed. With this introduction, it's very easy to understand the storyline as the objectives of this anime is stated very clearly. What I really love about this anime is that it has a simple storyline but it's not boring. Most of the spirits in this anime can be scary sometimes but there is a spirit that I think you know if you watch supernatural anime like kitsune (fox). Since the anime is very relaxing, it reminds me of another supernatural anime, Mushishi. This anime also focused on supernatural stuff so if you love watching Mushishi, this anime is also enjoyable and a must watch for you too.
