Ouran High School Host Club (also known as Ouran Koukou Host Club in Japanese) is an anime adapted from the manga byBisco Hatori. The anime is also available in English dub. The anime consists of 26 episodes altogether.
Genres: comedy, drama, romance, slice of life
Themes: bishounen, crossdressing, male harem, school
Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity)
Synopsis: Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the ultra-wealthy, able to attend because of a scholarship, and unable to even afford a uniform. One day, she stumbles across the decidedly peculiar but very popular Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school.

Comment: I find the concept of using host club as a main story is amusing. It's not that I love host club, it's just that this will make the anime different than any other shoujo anime I've watched. Some of the parts in the manga is not available for the anime version but it doesn't really affect the storyline. The story gets more interesting as it continues with lots of hilarious jokes. Each of the members' past will also reveal as the story progress to make you understand the situation more. Somehow, I don't really like the ending because I thought that the love between Haruhi and Tamaki is about to bloom but the ending is simply just leave you to your own imagination about their relationship. Set aside Haruhi and Tamaki relationship, everyone in the host club are very close to each other and even to Haruhi so it's great to see their friendships. Besides that, they always have different costumes and themes in almost every episodes so it's really fun to see them dress in other outfits besides their school uniforms. If you really want to know the continuation for the anime, I highly recommend you to get your hands on the manga. But it's still worth watching the anime version so just give it a try.
