Comment: Let me tell you I'm such a huge fan of Saiyuki thanks to Gensomaden Saiyuki. As far as I'm so eager to watch Gensomaden Saiyuki on tv, I'm also expecting the same eagerness in Saiyuki Reload Gunlock. Unfortunately, when I just watched this anime for about 2 episodes, I find that this anime isn't as interesting as Gensomaden Saiyuki. As the story concerns, it feels so dull. It makes me wonder where have all of the excitement has gone. In other words, I was really disappointed with this series because it has lost its sparks. This could be something wrong with me or the story is like that so let you be the judge. Since I've mentioned it is a continuation of Gensomaden Saiyuki, you need to have a basic idea about the characters' relationship and past to get a better understanding of the plot. If you just watch this anime straightaway without watching Gensomaden Saiyuki, this might make you feel a little bit confused for the first few episodes but after that you'll grasp the main idea of the storyline. Mood-wise, it's not as good as Gensomaden Saiyuki but you can give it a try if only you're a hardcore Saiyuki fans.
