Spice and Wolf II is the sequel of Spice and Wolf.
Genres: adventure, drama, fantasy, romance, supernatural
Themes: Economics, Trading
Synopsis: Craft Lawrence is a traveling merchant, hauling all sorts of trade goods to various places on his horse-drawn cart. One day, after a brief stop in the village of Pasroe, he discovered a young woman who had snuck aboard his cart. She named herself Horo, wolf goddess who watches over the harvest of wheat. Indeed, she does sport a pair of wolf's ears and a wolf's tail. Lawrence, despite his skepticism, agrees to travel with her to her homeland, Yoitsu, a place far to the north. Together, the pair overcame the travails that confronted them in the city of Passio, and then again in Rubinhagen. As a result, they came to understand each other better, and the bond between them deepened. Now, the pair, in search of information regarding the whereabouts of Yoitsu, are approaching the town of Kumerson just as a festival gets underway. What adventures await the pair?

The storyline starts off from the previous season so whether you have watched the previous season or not, it doesn't matter that much. Why I'm saying this is because the beginning of the episode for this sequel doesn't relate much with the previous season so if you don't feel like watching from the beginning, you're free to do that but the only thing that will leave you wondering how Horo met him. If you have this kind of question popping, then watch the first season.
In Spice and Wolf II, the main of objective of sending Horo back to her hometown is still continued in this season with having more clues on the exact location of Yoitsu. It's a good thing to hear that but the story doesn't just evolve around about Horo wanted to return to her hometown. Obviously this anime will involve economic related stuff such as trading and investment. I'm not saying this kind of emphasize in this anime is boring but I find it amazing.
This anime shows that investing isn't a risky thing as long as you know what you're doing. Even though you don't have any idea about investing, you can still rake some information to be sure that you get the return that you deserved. Indeed, I really love this part as this situation can be relate to our modern life where we need to find the opportunity for us to invest. This is a good lesson for those who is still contemplating to invest on mutual funds or stock bond.
This is the crucial lesson in this anime - money is important but the person that you love is the most important thing in your life. Well, this may sound cliche but it's true after all. Therefore, this anime is not all about getting profit.
Overall, this may seem like a boring anime if you don't like anything related with financial but trust me, watching this anime will change your perception towards risk and reward.
