Yakitate!! Japan is an anime adapted from the manga by Takashi Hashiguchi. The anime consists of 69 episodes altogether.

Synopsis: Azuma Kazuma isn't terribly clever, but he's got a good heart and great skill - at baking. Comment: One word I can say about this anime: yummy. Okay, that's not entirely helpful right? The storyline is pretty straightforward so you can just imagine how the story starts by jut knowing the synopsis of the anime. What makes this anime unique is it explained very well on the bread-making process so it turns out to be an anime with lots of bread knowledge. The part where whoever people tasted the bread maybe very over-exaggerating until you find it ridiculous, it's just that it's only how they express the taste of the bread. I think it's normal to have these sort of reaction in cooking anime. The plot is similar to the one in manga but there are some parts of the manga were not included in the anime version. Overall, this anime is absolutely a must watch because it's fun and you'll definitely gain lots of knowledge, but make sure you already have your meals. Otherwise, you'll be searching for bread after watching this anime.
