Yozakura Quartet is an anime adapted from the manga by Suzuhito Yasuda. This anime currently has 12 episodes on air.
Genres: action, comedy, supernatural
Synopsis: The story revolves around a quartet of teenaged heroes: A super-strong girl named Hime, a mind reader named Ao, a conjurer named Kotoha and an ordinary, powerless boy named Akina. The three girls and Akina protect the city of Sakurashin from supernatural threats.

Comment: Okay, this review is based on just one episode of Yozakura Quartet because right now I'm busy catching up with Soul Eater. However, as far as one episode that I've seen, this anime will definitely caught your interest more if you know a lot of Japanese folktale creatures such as Kotodama, Oni etc. Judging from the first episode, the introduction of the story is pretty clear so you can understand the objectives they're trying to achieve. The characters' introductions are only be done almost at the end of the show, so that's when you'll start to understand their roles and the terms Kotodama, Oni, etc would come. So far, it doesn't seem to involve violence that much but I'm not sure about the other episodes since I only watch one episode. Overall, it's a great anime to watch especially if you love the supernatural stuff.
